This years mark 100 years since the Representation of the People Act granted some women the vote. Whilst it the Act did not grant universal suffrage it was an important mile stone and dramatically changed the face of the electorate. At the Vote 100 Dinner we want to celebrate this important mile stone and look at the lives of some the unsung female grass roots campaigners from our region that made it happen.
Guest Speaker is Baroness Cathy Bakewell of Hardington Mandeville, Lords Spokesperson for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
