This year Regional Conference will be held at St Mary’s Church and Conference Centre on Bramhall Lane in Sheffield. This is an ideal opportunity for members from around our region to take part in lively policy debate, listen to passionate speakers, share in success and be inspired.
This year we will feature two keynote speakers, including the Chief Executive Officer of Bradford District Age UK, the launch of our “A Fair Deal for Yorkshire” Campaign, two policy debates and four training sessions. There will be a packed exhibition and space for local parties and groups to showcase their campaigns. If you would like to book a stall for conference please contact email@example.com for a booking form.
This year the Regional Executive will be asking for nominations for two new awards, the Outstanding Councillor of the Year Award and the Campaign of the Year Award. Nominations are now open and we are you asking you and your local party to put forward individuals. We are also seeking nominations for the two existing awards, the Penhaligon Award and the President’s Award. You can find out more about the regional awards and make your nominations here.
Nominations are now open for places on the Regional Executive for 2019 and will close at 4pm on the day of Conference, that is Saturday 3rd November 2018.
