Campbell slams homes plan

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Menzies Campbell has criticised Government plans to build homes on flood plains as he visited flood-hit areas of Hull.

He said: "It is extraordinary for the Government to announce - on today of all days - that it intends to proceed with building houses on flood plains."

He said the Government should review all decisions about new home locations.
